Sarah (Sassy) Mohen – Sarah Mohen is a 21 year old filmmaker from no where in particular and everywhere in general. She has lived in NYC, DC, San Francisco, Orange County and Los Angeles. Right now she finished up with Chapman University and has just made her big move to LA.
In college she wrote and directed the Independent Feature Film Happy Holidays which took her two years to complete. Going against the judgment of her University and peers, she undertook this ridiculously difficult task and came out triumphant. She completed the film for no funding, while not owning a car and with no support from her school. To her, this story gives her the belief that you can do anything if just want it badly enough! The film recently took a first place slot in the From Here to Awesome competition.
Right now she lives with her boyfriend Matthew Stubstad, good friend Brigitte Ashley and her boyfriend Michael Sasso (both of which co-starred in Happy Holidays). When not working excessively hard she LOVES to go out dancing, work out, try new things, go to the movies, spend time with her cat Layla, write and bum around on myspace.
1. Pick one goal that you want to have accomplished by May 15, 2013 for your career. Write where you see yourself, your financial situation, where you'll be living. Think about where you were on May 15, 2003. What did you want by now? Did you achieve it? I wanted to live in LA and be a filmmaker, and well lookat that. So write that you want to accomplish and how On the Verge will help
By May 15, 2013 I will like to be shooting my third feature film. True Perfection will have been released to rave reviews and whatever my next script is will be underway! Five years ago I was stuck in DC dreaming about living in California, making movies and being in love. And lookatthat I made it happen! I also do not want to live paycheck to paycheck.
2. Pick one goal, one feasible goal that you can accomplish by September 5th. What steps do you need to take to get there? Why do you want this goal? What will be your obstacle?
By September I want to have funding for True Perfection and have this show take off from being just a concept. I want this because it will be very beneficial to my over all career. I feel like I proved that I could in Happy Holidays and now I want to show I can make something better!
3. Pick three minor goals that will help contribute to the 2nd one. These will be the goals you will have to complete your weeks of shooting. Plus remember we are all here to help each other

•What is the easiest? My ambition making me never give up!
•How much money do you have in your bank account/Checking/Savings? God. I'm afraid to look. When I quit my job because of the first obstacle listed above my savings deflated. Now I've got about 150$$ to last me two weeks.
