Gandhi – Putting one of the world's greatest civil rights and peace advocates on a shirt is tough: you're walking a fine line between over-commercialization of a famous figure and true inspiration. With that thought in mind, we did what we thought would be best - we kept it simple. With an uncomplicated visage, a message promoting peace and self-awareness, put onto a 100% organic cotton shirt, we think that less is more in this case. - ABSTRACTmall and Junk Apparel will be donating 15% of all sales of this garment to Amnesty International and other international organizations to aid in combating civil and cultural injustice worldwide. I love this concept... Up until recently I figured clothing was relatively low impact on the environment but I found out that it's actually pretty harmful to produce the cotton. The 100% organic is a sweet addition and the benefits to Amnesty International is definitely cool. Great job Jack!
